Quarterly. Components like acid dosing tubing perish over time and need replacing roughly every 6 months. The module, heads, probes, and cell all need regular checking. Quarterly servicing catches problems before they turn into expensive repairs.
Yes. We'll come out, assess the system, service it, and walk you through everything you need to know, what the equipment does, how to read alarms, what you need to do between visits. Our quarterly servicing works out about the same cost as a monthly pool service guy.
The in-floor system isn't just pop-up heads. It's usually two integrated systems, one running your filter pump, chlorinator, and acid dosing, the other running the in-floor pump, multi-cyclone, and heads. Ripping one out isn't like swapping a suction cleaner for a robot. You're pulling apart half your equipment pad.
The in-floor system keeps your pool cleaner all year round. A robot mostly just picks up off the floor. Robots are also expensive and need servicing and replacement. In-floor systems look clean, no hoses or robots sitting in the pool.
The pool industry is gatekept. A lot of the larger supply companies don't have the resources to train people, so very few techs actually know how to service in-floor systems. Normal pool guys end up trying and either break things or don't do it properly.
Yes. We see this regularly. Heads can be replaced or serviced with new O-rings. Modules can be rebuilt or replaced. Sometimes when the module goes, no heads pop up or they all pop up at the same time. Either way it's fixable.
