⚠️ Chiller repairs can be significantly more costly
If your issue involves the chiller or cooling unit, costs can escalate quickly depending on the fault. The biggest variable is refrigerant gas — if your system has lost gas, a regas requires a licensed refrigeration technician and the gas itself is expensive. This alone can add hundreds of dollars before any other parts or labour are considered.
The $230 covers up to one hour on-site. Within that time we'll have a clear picture of what's going on — what the fault is, whether it's worth repairing, whether the unit can be retrofitted or needs replacing, and what the next steps are. If the fix can be done within that first hour, we'll do it. If it's more involved, nothing further proceeds without your go-ahead. No surprises.
We partner with licensed refrigeration technicians, so if a regas or specialist repair is needed, we coordinate it all for you — one point of contact, no chasing trades.
Many budget ice bath chillers imported from China use non-standard refrigerant fittings, proprietary parts, or components that simply aren't available in Australia. This can make repairs difficult, expensive, or in some cases impossible without replacing the unit entirely. If your chiller is a lesser-known brand, please mention it in your enquiry so we can flag any known issues before we visit.
Indicative pricing for your request
Before booking a call-out, it's worth checking whether your ice bath or chiller is still covered under the manufacturer's warranty. If it is, a repair may be fully or partially covered at no cost to you. Check your paperwork or contact the supplier directly. If you're unsure, mention it in your enquiry and we'll help you work it out.
